9层丝网版画的印制过程
Windows are our connection to the outside world. We observe each other through windows, converse through windows and we check the weather through windows. Windows need to be both functional, as well as being aesthetically pleasing to the eye. This window silkscreen series is an extension of our Pop Art & The City series that was first exhibited last summer, though now we focus on the finer details of the old buildings that can be found around Wuhan.

英国、美国、德国、法国等国的建筑师来到武汉，带来了自己的建筑学识，同时也受到20世纪初中国本土建筑师的影响，最终呈现于武汉的建筑设计之中。这种多样性赋予武汉这座城市独特的风格，汇集了来自世界各地的设计师和设计理念。
Architects from Britain, America, Germany and France among other countries, came to Wuhan, bringing with them their own learnings of architecture, as well as evidently exhibiting influences from the local architects of early 20th Century China. This diversity gives the city of Wuhan a unique flavour, bringing together both designers and design ethos from all corners of the globe.
丝网印刷过程
许多国家和城市处于疫情封城状态，现在我们比以往任何时候都有足够的时间来观望窗户的精妙设计。作为一个在疫情期间居住在武汉的外国人，我渴望进一步探索这座城市之中隐藏的大量建筑。开始以去年绘制的窗户为主题的丝网创作，是我逃避隔离生活的一种方式。
With many countries and cities on lockdown, now more than ever we can afford to take the time to appreciate the intricate designs of the humble window. As a foreigner living in Wuhan during the outbreak, I yearned to further explore the vast hidden buildings of this city. Painting these windows that I had seen last year was an escape from the indoors.
这一系列的丝网版画只有3.9 x 3.9英寸，我们想要通过小尺寸来强调窗户经常被忽视的细节，鼓励观众靠近画作仔细观察。手持放大镜在这些窗户的慢慢移动，近距离观察多到8-10层的丝网印刷中的细节。
We wanted to add emphasis to the often-overlooked details of the window, by painting tiny 3.9 x 3.9-inch silkscreen paintings, it encourages the viewer to come nearer and take a closer look. A magnifying glass can be used to observe the small details of these windows and to see the many layers (between 8-10) of a silkscreen print up close.
